We Remain Open For Business

Due to current events normal daily life has changed radically in a short time. We believe these changes are only short term, and will not become our "new normal" for the long haul. Maintaining some constants that we can look forward to will remind us all that this won't last forever.

To that end, we will continue participation in our markets as long as they remain open and we remain in good health. All our regular markets remain open with the exception of Sun City which has been closed until further notice.

Maintaining Health & Safety

We believe that farmers markets are among the safest options for people to buy groceries while following health guidelines about social distancing and avoiding large gatherings. Open air markets are less crowded, afford less exposure to direct contact with others, and are easier to navigate than grocery stores under current conditions.

In order to make the farmers market environment as safe as possible, we are using disinfectant wipes to disinfect all contact surfaces of our booth, using hand sanitizer between all transactions, making hand sanitizer available to anyone who visits our booth, and avoiding physical contact with others at the market. For now we'll give you an air high five but won't shake your hand. ;-)

Home Delivery Available

We understand that some folks will prefer to stay home as much as possible until the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus has subsided. Effective immediately, we are offering Tuesday deliveries to our Sun City customers.

We also offer delivery to our other customers on regular market days directly following the market they would normally attend. If you live near our Leander, Wolf Ranch, or Lago Vista markets and would like home delivery after your respective market has closed, or live near Sun City and would like Tuesday delivery, email fish@savoryalaska.com to get on the delivery schedule.

We Have Plenty Of Fish!!!

As for our inventory, we are well stocked to continue serving customers for several months even at current heightened demand. We have plenty of fish on hand and have a little over 600lbs scheduled to arrive from Alaska later today. We're in good shape in the event we experience a temporary disruption in shipping between Alaska and Texas.

To make fish more accessible we are extending the two sales we ran last week. We will continue to honor the Buy 2 Get 1 Free Pink Salmon Sale and 20% off Smoked Coho Salmon through Easter while supplies last.

A Few Final Words

We have been so encouraged by the positive attitudes of all the customers who have visited our booth at recent markets. More than anything it is a cheerful attitude, good hygiene, and respect for the health and safety of others that will get us through these rough seas. Our customers seem unanimous in displaying these traits!

Fair winds and following seas to all - we will see you soon at a farmers market or maybe at your front door.
